This beta is designed to process speech live. The app itself does not currently use an account system or its own database to save your conversations.

What is processed

When you use the microphone, audio is sent to cloud speech services for transcription. The resulting text is sent to cloud AI services for translation. This processing is necessary for the app to work.

What this app stores locally

Your theme choice, favorite languages, recent languages and language-use counts are stored locally in your browser or installed PWA on your device.

What this app does not currently do

• No user account is required.
• No conversation history is intentionally stored in an application database.
• No precise location is required for language selection.

Third-party processing

Speech transcription and translation are provided through Vercel AI Gateway and underlying AI model providers. Their infrastructure may process request data according to their own service terms and data-handling policies.

Production note

This is an early production beta. Before a broad public launch, this notice should be reviewed and expanded with the legal company name, contact details, retention terms, legal basis, and any required GDPR disclosures.
